Aired on April 19, 2010 Home Wreckers was the latest episode of How I Met Your Mother season 5. It was the twentieth episode of the season and 108th  episode overall.

Home Wreckers begins with a shocked Ted who comes to know that his mother and Clint, her long time boyfriend, are going to get married.  At the reception, Ted just can’t digest the fact that it’s the second wedding of his mother whereas he hasn’t got married even once.  Consequently, we see him leaving the party. Then Ted appears with the news that he has bought a house. No body likes his decision as well as the house as it is old and on its last legs. But Ted is sure that he will fix it up all. The storyline goes through various ups and downs and makes Ted to give his mother and her boy friend the toast, which he had meant to give earlier.  Also, various twists occur and Home Wreckers comes to an end.

The episode had some cultural references as well. Barney calls Ted’s mother a cougar. It’s Robin who reminds him that the maximum age limit of a cougar can’t be over than 50 so he calls her a Mellencamp.

I hope you all are enjoying the fifth season of How I Met Your Mother TV show.

Okay, did you catch Say Cheese, the very recent and eighteenth episode during the run of the current season?  The episode was aired on March 22, 2010.

Yeah, I did and here I am with my review on this episode. In the episode, we got to see that Lily had turned 32 and it’s her 32nd birthday. Her birthday remained as the center of the storyline and most of the events revolved around it.     The storyline takes a jump as long as one year and the group is all together for Lily’s 33rd birthday.

Say Cheese receives a B+ grade from Donna Bowman of The Av Club. Oops, the episode didn’t do very good as per Joel Keller and the man called it ‘half-baked’. The main said that he was really dissatisfied after watching the episode. Also, I have got the feedback of Vlada Gelman of the Los Angeles Times.       For Vlada, it was nice to see the whole group together in the same room and also it was nicely tied with flashbacks and flashforwards.

For me, Say Cheese was a good episode of How I Met Your Mother but not as good as we always expect from the show. There were some holes in the representation of the events, which left the viewers a lil bit unsatisfied.

Anyways, the next episode of How I Met Your Mother season 5 will be aired on April 12, 2010. It’s gonna be entitled as Zoo or False. I wish it will do well and gratify the fans of the show.
